European Bicycle Tour Itinerary

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007April 6th - Mum and Dad’s arrival in the UK.
April 10th to April 27th - Mum and Dad’s tour of Europe.
April 28th - My final working day at Paul’s Garden (Chinese Takeaway).
April 30th to May 10th/11th - UK Driving trip with Mum and Dad (Cirencester, Cardiff, Liverpool, Lake District, Edinburgh, Manchester).
May 15th - Mum and Dad’s return to Malaysia.
May 16th - My flight to Barcelona, Spain to begin cycling tour (Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium).
August ??th - Expected return from tour and return to Malaysia.

My first on-trip tyre puncture.
My destination was Leeds Castle but it had already closed for the day.
But I found a public foot path that cuts across a golf course to catch a glimpse of the castle.
And after 13 hours after starting this training ride at about 10:20 a.m., I’ve clocked up 67.59 miles (108.75 km).
And the worse thing about the trip wasn’t the body aches of the next day.
It was an egg that was hurled towards me by a teenage car driver at a junction. It wasn’t a direct hit but it did get my bike dirty. He speeded off before I had the chance to react but his trail of laughter was sickening.
I feel sorry for the future of Britain. Forgive them Father for they know not what they do…
