Time for an update.
Covered a lot of ground in Paris, although there was a little too much time to spend. Name almost any major sight there and I might have visited them. Lacked the sense of security you’d come to expect from a European city. A couple of close shaves with people looking to take advantage of us, so be aware when you visit.
Started working again at Paul’s Garden Chinese Take-away. Went right back into Saturday night mayhem like I was never away. You’ll never get a smoother first-day-of-work like I did here.
Ford’s interview feedback: Rejected because I didn’t have a driving license. One of the worst excuse I’ve heard. To judge on a technicality that could be resolved in 2 months rather than ability doesn’t make them look very good. I’m sure there’s something else to it but I’d rather not speculate.
