LONDON (BBC) – UK working holidaymaker Alex Lee, known for ‘conquering the world’, has been reported missing.
The 26-year-old traveller, who has recently been bike-touring boroughs surrounding Dartford, disappeared over the last 2 weeks.
Paul’s Garden Chinese Take-away reported their counter personnel missing at 10:50 p.m. on July 7th when he was last seen boarding a flight to an undisclosed location at London’s Heathrow Airport, a Kent Constabulary (Dartford branch) spokesman said.
Lately, he has been spotted in Gravesend (22km return), Ikea Thurrock Lakeside (across River Thames from Dartford) and Lullingstone Castle (24km return) on his decade-old but refurbished Peugeot touring bike.
In another gruelling ride, he rode for 3 hours to travel 28km from Dartford to Maybank in Central London, enduring one the hottest days in the UK this year so far where temperatures reached 31 degrees Celsius.
Days later, he reportedly visited The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for the Wimbledon Championships to catch the semi-final match between Maria Sharapova and Amelie Mauresmo on Henman Hill, a live junior’s girls doubles, and a senior’s doubles match featuring Goran Ivanisevic on Court 1.
Reasons behind his disappearance have remained a mystery but close sources say he might return sooner rather than later, which remains to be seen.
The Constabulary has appeal to those who know of his whereabouts or any information to come forward and contact Bruce Wayne at 0123 456 789.
