Dear Lord,
Forgive me if I have not been grateful enough for another opportunity to secure employment here in the UK with KeyMed. But I’ve begun to question myself whether this was more for my glory of Yours. Whether securing work with Filtronic or KeyMed would be a selfish and worldly desire if I have not focused on the eternal treasures and Your will for me to serve You. Help me to remember that all things here in this lifetime is temporary. My prayer is that with the doors you’re about to open, I will clearly see opportunities for me to bring You greater glory. Thank you, Lord.
Amen.
P.S. Interview is next Tuesday. At least I get another chance to wear my £79 suit and £35 overcoat. These were costly investments.
I can imagine you must be smart looking in that suit. No doubt that suit is costly in pounds as long you like it treat yourself once awhile, looks cheer up no regret. Anyway we have to jump over a alot of hurdles in life. Knowledge gain through experience that how we get mature each day . Optimism and enthusiasm cannot be taught, they must be caught. Attitudes are contagious. Wisdom is the hidened things but will show as life goes on. GOD is good to us all the time .Have faith , trust n obey He will lead n plan for us. Weather is getting cool pls keep youself warm .
Thanks for the encouragement, Mum.
I’m coping with the weather quite well.
The suit? It was a better fit than Dad’s. Wasn’t easy to find because of the small chest size (36″). Went shopping for it in three shopping districts before I found it.
But it was what I experienced along the way that was fun. I came across a mainly Sri Lankan / Southern Indian settlement in a place called Tooting Broadway. The Indian perfume, similar to the ones back home, filled the air.
I also saw many churches with Korean sign boards around Wimbledon. Found out later that there are about 30,000 Koreans in a place called New Malden nearby. Ah Sui’s staying in that area, I think.
